For those of you who wondered what we were going to do as a guestbook with the cards ppl wrote on. Here it is!

So, I wanted to let everyone know what the situation is like with my grandma. She's in the rehab facility now. She will probably be there for a month or so. She is not happy at all and is pretty confused. She kept asking whose "dress" her medical gown belonged to... That's not too surprising since she has already had the beginning stages of dementia for years. It runs in her family. Anyway, she forgets why she's there and keeps thinking she should be home. My grandma has been the one who doesn't want to leave their home for a retirement center. My grandpa has been trying to get her on board since she fell the first time over a yr ago. She was in a lot of pain when I was there last wknd. When the physical therapy lady got her out of bed she was crying she was in such pain. It was rough to see it be that bad with her. It's really clear she won't be able to live at home with just my grandpa for help.

But it's getting better everyday she's there. After a couple of weeks of doing physical therapy she's able to sit up and stand a little. She's till unhappy and from time to time she is in real pain. It will definitely be a challenge to get her to see she and Grandpa can't stay in their house when she gets out of the rehab place. We'll cross that bridge when we get there, I guess.
