This weekend I went to San Jose to a get together with some women from the newlywed board I frequent. Yes, we're not really newlyweds anymore. I have met and become friends with many of them already. Although there were a couple of new faces. We decided to have a potluck where everyone brought food from their heritage. We had everything from Cuban to Italian to German to Bulgarian to Irish and more. I brought vrenika (German or Russian depending on who you talk to). It was a lot of fun.
