Our journey from engagement to the beyond!

A little view from our new digs. There are more photos of it here: View from Our L.A. Digs The view is from above the pool, which is always full of kiddies during the day and it's locked at 8pm. So we have yet to enjoy it! Drew's sore is almost non-existent (yes, they take a long time to heal!) He still spends a little time each day on the Clinitron bed but he doesn't have to be in bed all day. This is a good thing for the obvious fact that he's not cooped up all day and night. It's also good because it's been quite warm lately. It's been in the 90's, which is uncomfortable when the bed also releases heat into the air. Unfortunately, the national tour Drew was supposed to do was canceled and the film group that wanted to make the movie about him didn't raise enough funds to do so. But he will be going to the World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas next month. It's a week long. Drew's mom, Mary, visited us for a few days at the end of last week. She was here while Hannah prepared for an interview at a charter high school in Van Nuys. It would be a great location since it isn't far from us. The school has already started so she would have to jump in after a substitute has been filling in. It's for World History, which she has never taught. But it's a job! She'll find out whether she got it by the end of this week. While Mary was here we tried a steak house called Gary Bric's Ramp in Burbank. It was just okay and nearly impossible to find. And a Mexican place in Studio City (very close actually) called Casa Vega. It was pretty good but had annoying parking. Apparently it's a favorite of Mylie Cyrus. You know we went there for that reason! http://www.casavega.com
