You didn't know Oakland had a rose garden, did you? We it does. It's called the Morcom Rose Garden and it's about 3 blocks from my old apt. My friend Laurel discovered it when we were roommates and we both we in awe of it's beauty. It needs a little more TLC but it's almost like uncovering Frances Burnett's Secret Garden in the modern, urban world.
