This one I screwed up making it so the answer to question #6 is wrong. The right answer is at the bottom of this page...

HERE'S SOME PHOTOS FROM MY NEW DIGITAL CAMERA FROM MY BIRTHDAY GET TOGETHER AT LAUREL'S HOUSE

Please ignore how wild, mountain man Drew looks. His hair WAS combed! No wrestling took place so I have no idea how it got so mussed...and the shaving, yeah...

Here's a better one of us his sister took on Sunday when we celebrated w/his parents.

Photo 4: My friend Kemmeo and her fiance, Aaron

Photos 5 and 6: Drew had to leave early :( This is everyone else exc Kemmeo who took the photo. She really is a photographer. left to right, Daniel (Laurel's husband), Laurel, Roselyn, me, Justin (Sol's fiance), Sol, and Aaron

everyone again since I was looking at the floor before

Photo 7: Laurel and Daniel. Thanks again for letting me use your cute little house! They've done a great job fixing it up!

Photo 8: me w/the yummy cake Laurel made me! Yes, there's 28 candles, oy...we also had TONS of Middle Eastern food. SO good!

Photo 9: Roselyn, a Barnes and Noble friend who came all the way from Stockton, and me.

I got incredibly thoughtful gifts from everybody! We have to find a special occassion for the 2000 Solis Merlot that Sol and Justin got us! Photo 10: These beautiful orange and pink flowers were from Kemmeo.

Photo 11: These are flowers Drew regifted me. They were beautiful, too.

Photo 12: This is the AWESOME CD Drew hunted down for me! It's a recently discovered recording of these guys who recorded very little together!

Is my friend Julie's baby, Aidan, not the cutest? No, he is. Too bad babies mean work ;)
Here's what Drew was like the last day at the hospital. Yesterday. He was very impatient. I understood why though, it was very frustrating. He was discharged (isn't that a weird term really) at about 3 pm. They had said it would be noon. Gotta love hospital time. Good thing my class wasn't until 7 pm. And I had my paper for it done. Mr prof turned back our 1st assignment for this Geography class. He had written on mine that it was too historical. Yeah, that's what you get from someone studying history! I guess it's not a bad thing. And I got the 2nd highest grade in the class. Of course, I think everyone else is undegrads...

So here's the story with Drew. He has a follow up appt scheduled for Oct 13th. That's with the Plastic Surgeon, not the Vascular team who also has to sign off on his aneurysm being under control. It is as far as we can tell but it's just in case he has any complications after leaving the hospital. So he still has to get that appt scheduled w/Vascular, hopefully the same day or one near it.

The potentially aggrevating thing is that the wound nurse that saw him at UCSF brought up the Abumen and Pre-Abumen level issue again. I'm not sure if I wrote about it before but w/the original Plastic Surgeon we were working with (we'll call him Bob since we had severe problems with him). Yes, he was the bastard who cancelled surgery twice, once the night before!! Anyway, apparently it was because Drew's Abumen and Pre-Abumen levels were too low. Essentially they indicate protein levels. And also lead to tissue development which is what he's lacking in the wound, of course. He had been eating as much protein as we and his parents could afford to get him.

His abumen levels did go up to JUST below the normal level. All other sources outside Bob and others at John Muir Medical told us this was no big deal as they could give him an IV to help with that extra little bit. This new nurse mentioned that if diet alone doesn't bring them up there's supplements or steroids they could put him on. Of course no one from Muir ever suggested that nor set him up w/a nutritionist to set up a program to get those levels up. But UCSF wants him to develop the tissue before he's admitted to the hospital. We just hope it doesn't mean more months of being strung along as his wound gets worse and destroys more good skin. Well, now these levels are apparently really low. Or they were when he entered the hospital when he had infection in the bone of the wound.

The infection's now gone after IV antibiotics he had in the hospital though we have to watch it carefully as he doesn't have any antibiotics now. It was in the interim period between going off the pickline IV in early Sept and going to UCSF that he got the last infection in the bone. Do you see how this takes over our entire lives?! Can you imagine if I was working now? Since the 2nd wound that really wouldn't have been possible as that has completely changed everything. Funny how that happened in early July, just after I quit Barnes and Noble! It was already getting to the point where I couldn't do school, work and deal w/Drew's health. And making sure he eats enough protein is a constant thing. He's not active being in bed most of the day (he can get a up a little now, just has to be conscious of shifting every few minutes but of course not shifting onto his cheek w/the 2nd wound!). So he doesn't get hungry so I have to remind him to eat all the time. I mean he tries to remember himself, of course, but he's always been a big guy so he's liked that he's slimmed down the last few yrs due to a decreased appetite. We don't want him to bulk up TOO much as that wouldn't be healthy either! Try to think of lean proteins he can focus on.

It is at least a part time job. Esp now that I have to do half the dressing changes. Yes, that's right they have decided to stop doing the wound vacuum entirely. Even on the newer wound. So these flat dressings have to be changed twice a day!! Very difficult with my morning to night class on Thurs. I either have to do it at 6:30 in the morning or 11 PM at night after I'm exhausted. The home care will only come once a day. It SHOULD only be until his surgery which better be in just a couple weeks...

Drew has found a version of that old computer game Oregon Trail-remember that one? Apparently Hannah is suffering from exhaustion and must rest. Computer "Art" immitates life ;) Apparently now my leg broke :( At least I don't have typhoid or dysentary!
So it's my birthday on Friday. I'll be old ;)
Cake time...Big thank you to Laurel for letting me have a small party at her house on Saturday! Hopefully, a few people can come.
Guess what time it is? Yep time to change the dressing! Have a good week!

(The color version monogram, it's a little grainy :( If you click on it, it's clearer)

They removed Drew's aneurysm yesterday. The doctor actually called it a pseudo aneurysm since I guess there's different levels. A full blown aneurysm is usually after it's ruptured. They had a successful removal of it yesterday with just a puncture hole and a tube pushed down it to release the bloodflow, redirect it away from that walled up vessel where the pseudo aneurysm was. It had basically caused a pool of blood around the blood vessels. Fortunately, it hadn't hindered the bloodflow between the different vessels but it could have in the future. He hasn't had any problems w/bleeding or anything. He was asleep for the procedure and very groggy yesterday. They want to make sure he doesn't still bleed or have complications in the next few days so they are sending him home Monday without doing the skin/tissue flap surgery that he went in to UCSF for. Drew talked to the plastic surgeon today, a woman named Dr Ting, I think. Until today we had only talked to plastic interns (they're already surgeons just haven't completed their specialization in plastics, yet) She said vascular will reassess the pseudo aneurysm vessel in a week or so. She will set up the flap surgery to follow the vascular assessment. When he's sent home he'll have antibiotics (either the pick line IV or pills). Then they'll set up physical therapy for after that, too. We'll have to work out the home care visits with Aetna, too. They say he only has a few left. Maybe SSI can kick in after that, I don't know. We aren't sure if Dr Ting plans on him continuing the wound vacuum dressings on the 2nd wound or not. If not, that would mean much more frequent dressings, too. We'll find out before he leaves the hospital. Thank you for all the continued support and we'll let you know how everything goes.

Good night!

Yes, I am Wonder Woman!

Here is our final monogram!! I love it. Thanks so much to Racquel (Jewells13 on the knot) for doing 18 different designs before we decided on one!! Isn't it cool?

Anyway, as most of you know Drew is in the hospital again. This time at the University of Calif, San Francisco-Medical Research Center. The doctors at San Ramon Medical (where he was in July) felt they couldn't do enough at their facilities. The surgeon, Doug Hamstra, directed us to UCSF after we went to see Bill Bryson at the wound care center at San Ramon Medical yesterday. It was between there and Stanford due to their research focuses. We're hoping we can get a new outlook on all this with, as Drew's mom says, "fresh eyes". UCSF is way up on a hill overlooking the city. His first room had a great view. You could see from the Golden Gate bridge all the way to the TransAmerica pyramid downtown. Until the fog came in that is ;)He's been moved to another room due to concern over the discovery of an aneurysm on his leg, near his groin. It looks as though he's had it for yrs (it can't be seen from the surface, it's internal). An aneurysm is a localized, blood-filled dilatation of a blood vessel caused by a disease or weakening of the vessel's wall. It causes a wall of blood under the surface and if it ruptures it can be very serious. There's a wall of calcium around the aneurysm suggesting he's had it for a long time but they can't be sure. It showed up when they did a CAT scan today and no one has ever seen it before. This is TOTALLY new as of today! Scary on top of all the other scary stuff. They fear it could rupture at any moment so they are just being cautious putting him in a ward where his vitals can be monitored every 2 hrs. It's not a great room space wise but that's okay. We understand. They had hoped to do the skin/tissue flap surgery today but delayed it do to this new development. They're afraid if they do anything in that general area they may disturb the aneurysm. It's possible the pressure sores have exasserbated the aneurysm and the fever could even have been brought on by the aneurysm, too. It's most likely that was brought on by the pressure sore infection in the bone of the 2nd sore opening but since they don't know they're covering all their bases. This is good. I'll keep everyone posted. Please continue to pray and send positive thoughts our way. Thanks!

More old Oakland postcards for you. The building is an autotorium that doesn't exist anymore. Drew's parents were able to get antibiotics last night. I don't know how well they're working since his temp still gets high after about 30 mins or so. He's got an ice pack on his head and drinks lots of fluids. His general practioner, Dr Gaston, sent in a prescription to hold him over til we can see Villanueva on Tues. I'm pissed at him. I didn't get a good impression of him when we met with him a wk and a half ago. He just said "take the pick line out" and that was it. I mean I assumed part of his shortness with us was due to his not speaking English well. He's Filipino. But I think he just wanted to get out of there. I was glad he offered to write up a note to the insurance for us about the necessity of continued home care since that was still an issue then. But since his focus is "infectious disease" he should've been emphasizing the probability of infection in the wound and determining a course for fighting the infection it seems to me. I just wish these freaking doctors would do their job properly!! Why are we constantly dealing w/ineptitude?! We really like the wound specialist nurse, Bill Bryson, and the wound surgeon, Hamstra but otherwise...**SIGH**
Babar & Pink Panther some of my favorites as a kid...

Drew's taking the antibiotics as often as he can. They help for a bit. The wound smells bad, too. That's usu a sign that it's infected. **more sighs**

Hopefully, my friend Angie can make it up from Fresno for my birthday. She's thinking about doing the train. Since I've done that so much I could work for Amtrak, I can help her out there ;) Did I mention we got a Swiffer mop? Best investment ever. Works so fast. Gotta love the purple and teal design. SOoo '80's. At least it isn't actually from the '80's! Maybe we'll get a Swiffer vacuum next. Be better than the 1974 piece of crap.

Drew loves this! Too funny...I'll update ASAP about the new antibiotic and surgery plans.

Above: Vintage downtown Oakland, old city hall in background. Below: Lake Merritt today, wall of current courthouse on left.

Hi, so Drew's fever is back up again. It's only a couple of degrees but it's still been ongoing over several days. We had it down for a couple of days and thought it was okay. We were supp to do our engagement photos this wknd or next (my friend who's doing them hasn't gotten back to me which day yet, either! I hope she understood which days I gave her to do them!) Add to that confusion now we may have to postpone them. Which we can't for too long cuz then he'll have his surgery ASAP, too. Obv, the main thing is that he's okay. The fever means he still has an infection in the 2nd pressure sore wound, which wouldn't be a surprise. The thing is if it keeps going up that's scary. I don't understand why the infectious disease doctor, Villanueva, didn't give him oral antibiotics after the IV ones were done last week like he had planned originally. When we saw him last week at wound care he just said take out the IV and no mention of further antibiotics. Even though he clearly saw the wound isn't healing! And he's only in his offics on Tues and Thurs! Why is that!? We called yesterday when it went back up and found that out. I feel like we'll never get to do our engagement photos and it makes us both anxious that the wedding can happen at all. Something just always goes wrong with his body. It's amazing to think when we got engaged, over a yr ago now, none of this had happened yet. It started only 2 mos later...(the pressure sores that is) Tues is a long way off. And the longer it takes him to be put on them, the longer it'll be before the skin/tissue flap can be done.

The 2nd wound could get worse due to the infection. It certainly isn't getting better. The home nurse that came today was asking why we were using the regular wound vac dressing foam for the tract/tunnel. That foam breaks down easily so it's not a good to use in a tract, she said. She suggested we get a diff type of foam specifically for the tract. Yet another thing we have to find a supplier for. The supplies for the 1st wound (diff supplies from the wound vacuum stuff used on the 2nd wound) are still being held up by the bad communication btwn the potential supplier and his insurance, Aetna. Good times...I just want him to be healed up soon! I'm not going to my HS reunion next month cuz he'll be in the hospital. It's $45, too. Plus gas to go down there...I'll find ways to contact old friends I'm curious about. I keep up w/a couple now.

Our toasting flutes came this afternoon! They're beautiful, honestly. So happy w/that eBay seller. 74stgray, she's great. Even sent us a gift with the package. Very well packaged, too. All for $25 instead of $60! I've been really lucky w/eBay so far. I was outbid for a dress I wanted today. It went for 50c more than I bid! $24.99 for a $200 dress! That's okay, I'll find another for what I need it for. It's funny I never buy clothes in physical stores anymore. When I don't use eBay (which I don't much for clothes) I still buy online a lot. Avoid the crowds...

I'm still debating over two photographers we met. It's so hard, I really want that to be a good experience. One is better thru email than in person and lives further away. So that's something to consider. We have to work out our contract with the caterer, too. Drew's supp to call him next week. It's his turn ;) But who knows when we could meet with him since he's in SF. That's a problem w/photographers, too. Cuz Drew can't sit for more than about 30 mins. So w/driving...Still working on getting a gathering for my birthday. Something relaxing... I'll update more about Drew's probable infection when we hear from the doctor. Have a good wknd all. We'll try, too.

Yes, I stole this from the San Francisco State website. Hey, it's free pictures. It looks like Sutter home care will be back starting tomorrow! They were the ones who came after Crescent (IV nurses) for the 1st wound. It was a Sutter nurse who directed us to go to the hospital for the 2nd wound. I'm so happy about that as I have not been happy to take on the role of Drew's nurse in all of this. We are also working on the surgery prob for next month. We're happy the wound care specialist and surgeons are actively getting the wheels in motion. So I had to share that. Oh, and Drew's fever went back down. That's very good cuz a fever can mean another infection in the exposed bone in the wound. He had just stopped his antibiotics so that would've been weird but still...

Did anyone see the last Tommy Lee Goes to College? He failed Chemistry. So would I. But he passed the other 2. Now he's thinks he's ready for his doctorat...Oh, Tommy...anyway the other show I like is Kathy Griffin, Life on the "D" List is also over. But it's on reruns on Bravo. Check it out. She's actually really funny. Here making fun of Victoria's Secret models...I HATED reality shows when they started (Survivor-bla!) but now there are some fun ones. It's so funny, Drew's such an American Idol fan. So funny cuz he can't sing at all! OH...My Fair Brady on VH1! Peter Brady and that model chick he's dating get love advice from Mrs Brady. Only been one episode but so funny...VH1 has some funny shows now...Gene Simmons' Rock School, KISS + British boarding school = classic...

Let's see, what else? I'm still interviewing photographers...Really tired of it but it's trickier than I thought. You want someone who does great work aesthetically but also "gets you" as a couple. Esp in our case, I think. Ppl say they aren't uncomfortable taking pictures of a man in wheelchair, wedding pictures no less. Some are really cool, others are, well, cool in the traditional sense of the word. Cold, detached, not what you want. I want to get started on our invites but I want the photographer settled first. I'm also trying to get something together for my birthday in a few weeks.

BTW, check out our wedding website. I updated it with hotel info near our location in Oakland and background on Lake Merritt. Here it is. http://weddings.theknot.com/pwp/view/co_main.aspx?coupleid=3230714403345625
Everyone is free to click on DETAILS FOR OUR GUESTS, whether they receive an invite or not. There's more pictures there. Our website is NOT for guests only and is NOT an invitation. Ok, that's it for now.

Yes, Oakland used to have trolleys, too! We're gonna get our engagement photos done in a few weeks. My friend Julie is coming all the way up from Fresno to do them! She rocks! Very excited about that and really appreciate that she'll do that for us. We're going to do them here! Treasure Island across the bay from SF. Really pretty. Hopefully, it'll be sunny that day. Yes, there are flat areas there to sit and stuff. It's the first place we went to talk and kiss so it's special to us. I was staying with a friend there before I got my permanent place in Oakland with my friend, Laurel. I also met with a wedding photographer today. I really liked him and his photos so we may have a fit there. I'll meet one more later and hopefully Drew can come with me this time. He's been running a fever yesterday and today so he couldn't go anywhere. We're watching it closely.

Here's the cute tea set Drew's mom gave me. Look at the little Chinese restaurant style cups. Plus now I finally have a teapot with an infuser so I can get loose tea leaves. I have developed a higher palate for tea so that I hate the cheap paper bag ones now. They taste really sulphury or something. ANYWAY, very nice.

Drew has just told me he's not sure he can marry me now that he knows I prefer wheat to white bread. Packaged. I have no aversion to French bread or sourdough but like Rainbo-Yelch! So, you may need to find some other plans on July 22, next year...(Disclaimer: No! Please don't make other plans! We'll find a way to survive as a dual bread type household!)

So apparently, the wound surgeon and the plastic surgeon are playing phone tag. Makes us feel better to know that we aren't the only ones who can't get thru. Other doctors can't either! They will try to set up a surgery soon. I have been doing his dressing changes this week because the home care, Crescent, that was doing it before has stopped. They specialize in IV's so they weren't going to continue now that his antibiotics are done. We like the Crescent nurses. Honestly, it pisses me off. I'm not his nurse and I don't think it's right for me to take on that role. It undermines our relationship as fiance and fiancee. Yes, there is a female version of the word. It's French so I know ;) Anyway, we are working on getting another home care but he has a limited number of home visits to be covered by his health insurance, too. They are jerks, too. His case manager is a witch, I've talked to her.

Totally off subject if you're looking for a good book, I'm in the middle of an early (may be her first) Margaret Atwood, called The Edible Woman, that I really like. It's from 1969. It is sort of like a Catcher in the Rye from the female perspective. And if you've read The Dive From Clausen's Pier, it definitely influenced Ann Packer. When I was between classes, I went to the library to study. It was sitting on the table I sat at. Someone had left it so I picked it up and started reading it. In 2 hrs I read over 100 pages. So it really pulls you in. Anyway, enough book talk.

Drew's very happy to have the laptop. He has to be in bed about 23 hrs a day. I do think the tract (tunnel) off the main opening of his 2nd wound is healing a little more the last couple of days, so maybe my dressings aren't that bad. Please continue to send us good thoughts for healing. I know this sounds self-piteous but I feel like hurricane Katrina is a metaphor for my life this last year. I feel like I was flooded by some natural disaster with nothing to grab onto. And that some of those supposedly close friends reacted slowly to help me or not at all. Instead of the friends close by, who had a "contract" to do something (like those local and state, Louisiana officials) it was new friends and some further away who came out of the woodwork to support me. People I hadn't even met in some cases. It always surprises you who really makes the effort and who doesn't. Weird analogy I know but it struck me nonetheless. But I'll just say there has been some disappointment for me with some people this year. Nothing new, it happens. But anyone who thinks all this gets easier, it just doesn't. You do what you can to keep going and try to stay positive but I would never be adverse to a shoulder to lean on. And I really appreciate those you've extended one to me.

Tuesday, September 06, 2005

Hi again, everyone. We went to wound care today and found out Drew's 2nd wound has an 8 cm tract(like a tunnel of receding flesh) branching off the area visible from the surface. In other words, beyond what you can see, there's receding flesh under the surface. This means the wound vacuum is not working on this wound really at all and it's getting worse. He will need plastic surgery ASAP! But as we all know, surgeons are hard to schedule. In fact, Hamstra, the wound surgeon from San Ramon Medical, has been trying to contact a plastic surgeon but HE hasn't gotten a hold of anyone yet. We will begin to look on our own tomorrow. Drew also meets with a physiatrist tomorrow and hope maybe he can suggest a plastic surgeon. Please pray for and/or think of Drew, his family and I at this time as this is a very serious development in this 2nd wound. Despite all our efforts to heal it, it has not done so. Very scary! Even more now, he can't get out of bed which is very saddening for him. It's hard to impress on everyone just how difficult is to be 29 and feel like you're a 75 yr old because you can't do much of anything 29 yr olds do. He def doesn't have the body of a 75 yr old but it's easy to feel that way. It makes it even harder to understand those who harm their bodies of their own will. When you have control over your destiny-use it!

We're working on getting our engagement photos done before he goes in the hospital. We'd like to make our save the dates for the wedding on the computer ourselves w/the vintage postcards I have downloaded and an engagement photo. But the postcards have copyrights over them so we may have to buy the paper versions first. We'll see. I want to do them now but he's bed-ridden so it's hard. Plus we have to focus on calling doctors and dealing w/crappy medical insurance and whether they'll cover home care. At least, the infectious disease doctor from the hospital who we saw at wound care today, Villanueva, said he'd send them a doctor's order for the necessity of continued home care.

School's good but it will crazy in Oct when I have midterms and Drew will be in the hospital for the skin/tissue flap surgery. Just like last yr :( I wish
we could go back to 2003...so much more fun for us. Anyway, I'm working on having a birthday shindig/bridesmaid gathering on Sep 30th. I deserve a party!

Basically, New Orleans is a sewage dump right now. 10 times the safe level of bacteria in the water that's everywhere! I can't believe there are people who refuse to leave/be rescued. I mean, I realize they want to preserve what's left as it's all they have but it's so DANGEROUS!! 9 cases of West Nile Virus have already been reported. Misquitos are thriving. FI contracted Viral Encephalitis this way in San Diego, went into a coma for 6 wks and almost died twice! So, it makes no sense to me. I mean I understand those who couldn't get out on their own but when the national guard is coming in to rescue you-get out of there! I just know there will be epidemic disease. And that governor-preventing manditory evacuation! I can't believe these officials are fighting amongst themselves instead of thinking of the people! But I am glad that the mayor of New Orleans has noted the public health threat of letting people stay in contaminated water to spread disease. And that those who do care are doing what they are.

I found out my uncle in Penn, is heading up Hurricane Katrina Relief through the organization he works for. They are a church charity/outreach organization with ongoing involvement in the Tsunami ravaged areas, the Sudan and other communities in desperate situations. If you want to check it out here links
http://www.mcc.org/katrina/ and http://www.mcc.org/katrina/katrina050905.html. They have been focusing on Alabama and Mississippi since most others are in New Orleans. I encourage everyone to donate even just $10 to some reputable relief organization for this disaster. Every little bit helps. What goes around comes around, too. We here in Northern Calif are always worried about the next big quake and you never know. We would want all the help we could get if our homes and lives were destroyed, too.

I'll keep this updated about Drew's condition.

Happy Friday everyone. I've had my first week of my 2nd year of grad school. This semester I have an awful Thurs. I start at 9:30 AM (meaning I have to get up at 7 when I don't take a shower in the morning!) and don't finish til 9:30 PM! I am having a hard time staying awake thru that day. Tues is bad, too, because I have a night class on Mon and Tues I still have my early class though I finish at 3:30 in the afternoon. Can't be helped though. Sacrifices for getting smarter I guess ;) Plus the home nurse comes really early now MWF. I slept almost all day today.
My favorite new show is Tommy Lee Goes to College...he's the guy from Motley Crue, now 42. Yeah, you must watch it, it's totally funny!

Speaking of funny, I love this vintage postcard of Lake Merritt. Back when Oakland was literally a cowtown! Speaking of Oakland, check out our A's tonight. Drew was very happy they won against the Yankees (who he HATES) 12 to nothing! I'm actually learning about the game enough to keep up now. Then, there's football...not so much.

I'm so sad about New Orleans! It's so awful and I still hadn't been there. Remember, I was trying to go to grad school for art history there a few yrs ago! I'm bummed I'll never get to see it as it was. Of course, the main thing is the terrible situation for the people. I just can't believe it. According to what I've heard, the city had virtually no emergency plan for a hurricane. They were just using voodoo and magic to keep 'em away this long, I guess. I wish I could really donate something but, yeah, I have no $!

So it looks as though Drew will have to have surgery on his 2nd wound. He has decided this is probably inevitable since it hasn't healed at all on it's own. Even with changing the vac so that it's only on that wound, it still hasn't made progress. I'm kind of scared about it and so is he. But looking at (and esp feeling!) that wound makes me scared, too. His antibiotics will be done Tues so they will take his pick (IV) line out. Then that nursing care won't care for him anymore. So we have to find a new home care soon! It's all about his insurance. So that's another challenge. I hope we can meet for menu tasting with our caterer before Drew has his skin flap surgery. We are meeting a couple more photographers this week. I hope we can make that decision soon and take engagement pictures this fall.

My grandparents made a surprise visit this Monday. We had talked about them coming but I didn't know they were for sure. That was cool. I showed my grandma my wedding dress and told her what I'm doing with her veil. I'm combining part of my other grandma's with hers. I have more on it in my knot bio, under my screen name, "hannikan" in the TALK section.

Wouldn't my grandpa laugh at this? Too funny! From fark.com.
